Hillsong Church is working with Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) to launch a new 24-hour TV network.
According to its website, the channel will feature “Hillsong’s global conferences, exclusive interviews, documentaries, fun for the kids, youth programs plus much more.”
It will launch on June 15. “This new aspect of the Hillsong global vision is unlike anything we have launched up to this point”, Hillsong pastor Brian Houston said. "It'll be a continuous, 24-7 feed that will be exalting Jesus and empowering people for every part of life."
TBN Chairman Matthew Crouch said: “This powerful new praise and worship network will offer an amazing opportunity for us to reach a whole new generation of viewers with the message of hope and grace as we partner with the most iconic and far-reaching presence in contemporary Christian music.”
Originally from Australia, the Hillsong denomination has been opening branches across the world. It is mainly known for its worship music albums (more than 15 million sold).
Hillsong channel will be seen on At&T, Verizon, Direct TV and SKY, among others.
