“How can we understand the chaos in contemporary culture?”, free master class with Stefan Gustavsson
The online class aims to “understand what is happening in European culture and give a way forward on how to respond as a follower of Jesus”.
FOCL · WISLA (POLAND) · 12 SEPTEMBER 2024 · 12:15 CET
A new Forum of Christian Leaders (FOCL) master class will take place on Saturday, 14 September.
As in previous editions, registration is free and available for all.
Stefan Gustavsson, director of Apologia Centre for Christian Apologetics, will be teaching a 3-hour and a half-long (15.00 – 18.00 London time) free master class titled “How can we understand the chaos in contemporary culture?”.
“We live in turbulent times with unrest, a lack of direction, and a widespread sense of intellectual and moral chaos. How should we, as followers of Christ, respond to this moment in history?”, underlines the FOCL in the presentation of the class.
This master class aims to help participants “understand what is happening in European culture, why it is happening, and give them a way forward on how to respond as a follower of Jesus”.
It will include sessions such as: “The importance of ideas”; “The biblical understanding of life”; “Understanding today’s secular and individualistic Europe”, or “The way forward”.
The session will be held on the Zoom platform, and will include a time for questions and answers. Participants will be able to join from home or in groups from church settings.
The FOCL also organises the annual European Leadership Forum conference in Wisla, Poland. The registration for the 2025 gathering is already open.
