We pray for the living
We pray for those who suffer. Not only for their suffering to stop, but also for them to meet the One who is near in the midst of all suffering, bearing the pain, the guilt and the hate.

Our time and society are continually shocked by violence.
Most recently, we have reported about the Orlando shooting and the murder of 11 members of a evangelical family in Mexico.
But every day blood is shed across the world. Violence against women, exploitation of refugees, abortion, religious terrorism.
We join with Christian leaders in condemning all kinds of violence, all actions which destroys human lives.
Some pray for the dead, but not us. We believe the eternal destiny of every person will be the consequence of their decision in this life.
We pray for those who kill, that they may repent and turn their eyes to the murdered One who forgave.
We pray for those who suffer. Not only for their suffering to stop, but also for them to meet the One who is near in the midst of all suffering, bearing the pain, the guilt and the hate.
We pray that we will be able to live together, with respect for those who are different, for those who disagree with us, for the friend and for the enemy.
We pray that those who are still writing the story of their lives will know how to choose their own eternal destiny; and find the way, the truth and the life that are in Jesus, and only in Jesus.
Yes, we pray for the living. We pray for the coming of God´s Kingdom, which we will only enjoy fully in eternity with Him. But which we can only bring closer in its glory, justice, peace and love by coming to the real, historical and living Jesus of the Gospel.
