The 8th Evangelical Congress was held, a Festival of Hope celebrated Jesus in the centre of Madrid. A commemorative service gathered 8,000. “Spanish society benefits from the action of evangelical churches”, says Justice Minister.
The event gathered more than 25,000 people over two days. In a festive atmosphere, the gospel was preached, and more than 1,700 people made a decision for Christ.
“Politicians are not going to be able to answer the questions that the world is facing today”, Graham told Evangelical Focus. The evangelist introduced Festival of Hope in Spain and talked about secularised European societies.
