The Protestant Reformation has played a very important role in the transformation of society in the last 500 years.

To examine this influence, evangelicals in Spain have launched the project: "8 causes that impacted the world."

EDUCATION, CREATION CARE, FREEDOM, AND MANY MORE
It is a series of short documentary videos in which each month a "cause" that changed society will be exposed.

Education, culture, science and, and many other isssues have been shaped by the spiritual change experienced by people around the world thanks to the re-discovery of the Bible and its influence in every aspect of everyday life.

The eight "causes" of the project include: fighting against illiteracy, service, freedom from slavery, martyrs of faith, dignification of races and cultures, social justice, creation care and dignification of the human being as a creature of God.

This initiative is part of the activities that are taking place worldwide to commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.

“15J, THE CALLED OUT ONES“

In Spain, a special week called "15 J, the called out ones" has been planned, from 10 to 15 July, in which there will be several activities that aim to gather thousands of evangelicals in Madrid.

One of these activities is the 8th Evangelical Congress, which will take place from July 12 to 14, and will have renowned speakers, including Gary Wilkerson (read an interview with him here).

Organisers believe the conference will be "an opportunity for leaders and pastors to take a healthy look at today's evangelical reality and to draw up a positive outlook for the church, its challenges and opportunities today and in the immediate future."

There will also be an urban youth camp, commemorative services, a march through the main streets of Madrid, and a great final concert that will close the events.
