‘A WELL DONE JOB IS ALWAYS RECOGNISED’

The award was a surprise for Betel. Its leaders not only did no ask for it, but were not aware of being among the candidates to receive it.

Founder and president, Elías Tepper, recalled that when he asked the organisers how was it possible that they received the award, they told him: "When there is a job well done, there are always people who know how to recognize it".

Betel is an NGO founded in 1985 and was built as a social work of the Bethel Church, dedicated to the restoration of lives, with many centres and projects. Its purpose is to help people in social exclusion, through free rehabilitation programs.
