Morning Star News is the only independent news service devoted exclusively to covering persecution of Christians worldwide. Uncovering often unknown cases of persecuted Christians with original, first-hand reporting, Morning Star News leads the way for aid and advocacy organizations to offer relief. Our mission is two-fold: 1) to publish consistently credible information about persecution of Christians so that those in the free world can pray and otherwise offer help; 2) to strengthen persecuted Christians: The news encourages them that they are not forgotten and that they are not alone as they learn of the suffering of their brethren elsewhere. Several of our correspondents risk their lives in the endeavor. Jeff M. Sellers began the news service in 2012 after serving seven years as editor of persecution news service Compass Direct News and five years as an editor at Christianity Today magazine.
