Terry Garde is researching ASM in East Africa for a PhD thesis at the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies. He has a lifetime of experience as a mining engineer in Zimbabwe. He established Miner to Miner Ministries in western Kenya through the International Miners’ Mission (UK) where he is a trustee and heads up the Mercury Free Campaign initiated by Greg Valerio through the CRED Foundation.
