Aarón Lara Sánchez (1959, Mexico City) studied journalism and is the founder and General Director of the Centro de Cultura y Orientación Civil Concertación. He is also president of the Board of Trustees of the Juárez Prize for outstanding civic and values, which is awarded annually in the Mexican Chamber of Deputies. He is the author of seven books, including "Semillas de Vida" (Seeds of Life), translated into English, Mayan and Purépecha. In 2016, he became involved in the social movement Iniciativa Ciudadana por la Vida y la Familia. As a result of this social movement, he founded the Ibero-American Congress for Life and Family, which he currently chairs.
