Greg Dekker served as Director of International Translation Services for SIL Global from 2020 to 2025 and currently serves as Director of Strategic Language Applications. Greg has served with SIL in Translation, Literacy and Education, and in senior leadership roles in the Philippines, Asia Area, and South Asia. He served as a founding translator on the Lubuagan New Testament translation project in the Philippines, is a Translation Consultant, and has served as a Senior Literacy and Education Consultant. Greg has a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Westmont College and a MA in Linguistics from the University of Texas, Arlington. He is also an ordained minister.
