Jack Sara is president of Bethlehem Bible College and an ordained pastor of the Evangelical Alliance Church in the Holy Land. Born and raised in Jerusalem's Old City in a Christian family, he gave his life to Christ during his teenage years, an experience that profoundly shaped his calling to ministry. He studied at Bethlehem Bible College, earning a degree in Biblical Studies and Christian Education. He then pursued a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Pastoral Studies at Alliance Biblical Seminary in the Philippines. Later, he earned a doctorate in Missions and Intercultural Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. While in the Philippines, he served on the pastoral team at Pasay City Alliance Church. Upon returning to Jerusalem, he served full-time at the Old City evangelical church and taught at Bethlehem Bible College. He served for 13 years as senior pastor, contributing to the growth of the congregation and the development of church planting initiatives among the Palestinian and Arab populations. Throughout his ministry, he has worked extensively on peace and reconciliation initiatives and has participated in various international organizations and ministries. He is especially committed to the training and mentoring of young Christian leaders. Sara currently serves on the boards of several Christian organizations and frequently travels to different countries teaching and speaking about missions and intercultural work in the Middle East. He is married to Madleine Sahwani Sara. They are the parents of Nathan, Maranatha, and Mickel.
