An evangelical businessman was killed outside a church. Several organisations call to pray for peace and security as the government deploys the army.

Evangelical Christians in the country speak out about the situation. “It is our duty to make a call to prayer, to calm down and recognize the right of people to protest peacefully”, pastor José Piñero says.

Several evangelical representatives participated in the Organization of American States Assembly. They defended religious freedom and the right to life.

"We are not going to teach gender ideology in the school, but we are not going to discriminate anyone either", Education Minister Enrique Riera, says.

At least 29 people have died in the protests during this month. The Latin Evangelical Alliance has called the Christians to pray for Venezuela.
