The responsibility of the media (whether television, radio, print or digital media) is very high in an environment like the current one in Spain.
Evangelical Focus will be the liaison between Spain and the different European events that will also happen throughout Europe.
Representatives of 11 evangelical Spanish mass media joined to sign a “Fraternal agreement of collaboration”, with the aim of working together promoting and spreading all the activities and events regarding the 500 anniversary of Reformation.
The signature took place at the Spanish Federation of Evangelical Religious Entities (FERDE in Spanish) office, after a meeting where the organisers of the 500 anniversary of the Reformation, developed the communication strategy that all the media will follow, each one with its style, but with the same terminology and schedule.
The agreement shows the common desire of working together to give more visibility to all the events that will happen in Spain to celebrate the 500 years of the Reformation.
According to the project coordinator, the pastor Juan Carlos Escobar, this agreement is “a great opportunity to tell our society the great benefits that this event will bring, and, most important, to share the Gospel of Jesus to this generation in a new way.”
Other evangelical media , which were not in the meeting, have already expressed their desire to join, and the project is opened to any media interested.
Evangelical Focus also signed the agreement, and it will be in charge of informing Europe about all the 500 anniversary events that will take place in Spain, as well as being the liaison between Spain and the different European events that will also happen throughout Europe.
The campaign will start next October 31, and all the participants hope to make the anniversary interesting for their readers, listeners and spectators, so that Spain will know about the historic event that will be commemorated in 2017: the 500 anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.
