The different federations of evangelical churches of Guadeloupe joined the National Council of Evangelicals in France (CNEF) by founding the ‘CNEF Departmental 971’.

The union was formalized during their 2019 Annual Easter Convention held this Friday at the Palais des Sports du Gosier, which gathered around 2,500 evangelicals from all over Guadeloupe.

This is the result of many years of collaboration between the Evangelical Church of Guadalupe, the Salvation for All (EEG), the Federation of Baptist Evangelical Churches of Guadeloupe, the Church of Bethel and the Church of the Soldiers of Christ.

On Easter Friday afternoon, the leaders of these churches presented the CNEF departmental 971, which aims to “make evangelicals more visible, develop their social action, and be the the voice of evangelical Christians in society”.

The participants of the Easter Convention worked and shared experienes thoughtout the weekend under the theme: “Together, let us celebrate the Passover that transforms”.
