Obedience
Obeying God is not a list of prohibited things... Obedience to God is depending only, and exclusively, on Him in every situation.

The outcome of a game of basketball can be decided by the fouls committed by individual players.
In the NBA, the loss of an important player through fouls has an enormous influence on the development of the game. This was the case of RONALDO BLACKMAN, from Panama, as he was always indispensable for his team on account of his strength.
All good players put an terrific amount of effort into each game, to the extent that they are also vigilant not to be disqualified for fouls.
We should take care to live in a similar way: we could be disqualified for committing too many 'fouls' in any particular situation.
It does not matter if you are a Christian or not, too many faults could disqualify you for the Lord's service... at least until the next 'match'.
Being children of God does not give us the right to live as we choose. Having believed in him and been saved does not give us a license to commit fouls when we feel like it.
No, God requires obedience from us - that is what pleases him
Do you recall the case of Jonah? God sent him to speak to the people of Nineveh, but he chose to disobey and escape out to sea in a boat.
The Bible tells us the whole story of the storm, the great fish that swallowed Jonah, of his subsequent realization of his disobedience, his repentance, and how he ended by going to preach to the people of Nineveh.
This is the great lesson of the book of Jonah, you may believe that you can disobey God if you want to, but sooner or later you are going to have to do as he says. You can't escape from God.
All our faults have to do with our disobedience. We are going against God's word when we do things that are not approved by him, and also when we don't do what he expects of us.
Obeying God is not a list of prohibited things... Obedience to God is depending only, and exclusively, on him in every situation.
Obedience means acknowledging him as Lord in every area of life.
Remember that we please God most when we obey him. God can achieve his objectives whatever happens, but if we do not obey him we miss out on a blessing.
