Around 1,350 young people from across Spain recently attended a meeting organised by the Venga tu Reino (VTR, Thy Kingdom Come) movement in the southern Spanish city of Estepona.

Participants from the Spanish regions of Andalusia, Murcia, Extremadura, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, Galicia, Valencia, Madrid and Ceuta gathered for a day that, according to the organisers, was “filled with a palpable and powerful presence of God”.

VTR coordinator, Jorge Feliz expressed his “immense joy” at the event's impact. “We want to testify to the enormous blessing that this Saturday has been”, he told Spanish news website, Protestante Digital, stressing that, throughout the day, “there was a hunger never seen before in our generation”.

“A truly beautiful spirit of unity”

The sessions included talks, times of worship and moments of joint prayer.

“The talks were greatly supported by the Holy Spirit and the worship was filled with passion. There was a truly beautiful spirit of unity”, said Feliz.

The meeting included an evangelistic call. Between 15 and 20 people accepted Christ during the day.

There was also a special moment dedicated to praying for Almería, where VTR plans to hold its next evangelistic event from 2 to 4 July 2026.

Gratitude and expectations for 2026

“We thank the Evangelical Council of Andalusia (CEAA) for its institutional, accounting, and legal support”, said Feliz. He also thanked “the pastors who were there”.

For the VTR coordinator, “what we are experiencing makes us truly excited and hopeful for what lies ahead in 2026. We are hungry for more, fearful of God, but firm and determined in the will of our Lord”.

“Spain is getting to know Christ!”, concluded Feliz.
