From October 8th to 10th 2025, Sarajevo hosted the regional conference “The Harvest is Plentiful”, organised by Association Good News in partnership with The Gospel Coalition Eastern Europe and FEUER (Fellowship of Evangelists at the Universities of Europe).
There were 150 participants from across the Balkans and beyond. The event brought together believers from 13 countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Romania, Moldova, and a few from non-Balkan nations. The diversity of attendance reflected a shared hunger for gospel-centered encouragement and practical equipping for evangelism.
The conference featured plenary sessions led by Tim Savage, Petar Kuzmič, Lindsay Brown, Samuil Petrovski, and Slavko Hadžić. Each speaker brought biblical depth and personal conviction, challenging participants to renew their commitment to evangelism and to trust the Holy Spirit’s leading in sharing the Good News.

In addition to the main sessions, nine practical seminars were offered, covering a wide range of evangelistic approaches: Evangelism at the workplace, How to evangelise men and women, How to organise evangelistic events, Evangelism and art, Evangelism through book clubs, Evangelism and resurrection, Six biblical models of personal evangelism, and Evangelism among university students. All seminars were well attended, and participants left with actionable tools and renewed vision for outreach in their local contexts.
Seeking tangible outcomes beyond inspiration, the conference launched two strategic initiatives. A team led by Samuil Petrovski and Slavko Hadžić will conduct evangelism training and evangelistic events in Skopje (Macedonia) in March 2026. Additionally, plans were made to send a team to Zagreb (Croatia) immediately following next year’s conference (7-10 Oct 2026) to continue equipping and mobilizing believers for outreach.

Participants of "The Harvest Is Plentiful" conference in Sarajevo, 8-10 October 2025. Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Many described the conference as “truly blessed.” Attendees appreciated the interactive nature of the seminars and the emphasis not only on evangelistic methods but on deepening one’s relationship with Christ. One participant wrote, “I believe this conference will lead to revival in the Balkans, and I pray for that.” Another noted: “It was good to have time to fellowship with others in the region.”
“The Harvest is Plentiful” served as “a reminder that God is at work across the Balkans, stirring hearts and calling His people to action”, the organising team believes. “With renewed passion, practical tools, and regional collaboration, the seeds sown in Sarajevo are already bearing fruit—and the harvest is indeed plentiful.”
