Spanish evangelical church recognised for its 40 years of social work
A church in southern Spain was awarded an Honourable Mention by the City Council. “The Lord blessed us today to continue blessing others”, they said.

The city of La Línea de la Concepción, in the Spanish region of Cádiz, celebrated this Wednesday 20th July, the 152nd anniversary of the constitution of its first City Council.
The anniversary was celebrated with an institutional plenary session in which the presentation of Honours and Distinctions to outstanding people and institutions of the city took place.
The event took place in the Congress Palace of the city, where the current president of UNESCO, Juan Rodríguez Corrales, who was born in La Línea, was in charge of giving the institutional speech.
The evangelical church Esperanza de Vida (Life Hope) received one of the Honorary Mentions in recognition of its social work on behalf of the underprivileged over the last 40 years.
Furthermore, the city council presented the Gold Medal of the city to the Royal Yacht Club, in commemoration of its 75th anniversary and another Honorary Mention to the Secondary School 'Mediterranean', on its 50th anniversary.

“We are deeply grateful to our City Council for awarding us an honourable mention for the social work we have been doing as a church for the benefit of our city”, said the evangelical church on its social media.
They pointed out that “it is a recognition for all those who form and have formed part of our community of faith, putting their heart and dedication to bless our city. Thank you all, the Lord blessed us today to continue blessing others”.
Esperanza de Vida church explained that its vision “is to reach out to the people of our city and county; showing the need to take the path through Jesus Christ”.
