After a dozen Russian drones violated Polish airspace on the night of September 9-10, the European Evangelical Alliance (EEA) asked the Polish Evangelical Alliance how Christians in Europe could pray for them.

Andrzej Nedzusiak, Secretary General of the Polish Evangelical Alliance, called on Christians to “thank God for the peace and protection of Poland’s borders to date”; and to pray for the protection “of the Baltic Sea: critical infrastructure, communication, trade, and transportation routes”.

Russia and reconciliation

He encouraged Christians to “ask God to judge the iniquity that rules Russia and to open the hearts and minds of Russians to the truth”.

“Let us pray that the hearts of Poles may be healed, and let us ask the Lord Jesus for the grace to give Poles a supernatural movement towards reconciliation”, added Nedzusiak.

Poland has played a key role in welcoming Ukranian refugees since the beginning of the invasion.

Polish and European authorities

The Polish Secretary General asked to pray for Polish politicians and leaders.

“Let us call for good cooperation between the Polish authorities: the government, the Parliament and the president, for the security of the country”, he said.

Nedzusiak also remembered international leaders in the prayer requests of the Polish Evangelical Alliance.

“Pray that the political leaders of Europe and the United States may not succumb to any deception regarding Russia, but, being aware of the truth, may make the right, courageous decisions”, he concluded.
