Teenagers and young adults from dozens of evangelical churches from across Spain travelled to the northern city of Huesca to take part between 2 and 5 April in the 14th edition of Misión Posible (in English, “Mission Possible” or MP).
The conference, which was first held in Tarragona in 2001 and has had its home in the Aragonese city since 2005, is organised every two years by the Federation of Independent Evangelical Churches of Spain (FIEIDE).

This year, it attracted 471 attendees, including staff. The age range was wide: from the youngest in the MP Kids programme, barely one year old, to participants aged 71, although the average age was 19.
The theme of the event held was “Have you heard?”, inspired by the biblical text of 2 Timothy 2:2, a passage that served as the basis for the plenary sessions and morning devotionals in small groups during the gathering.

A call to discipleship
The main speaker was Andrés Pérez, a musician and pastor of La Parroquia evangelical church in Valencia, who developed the event’s central message based on the second chapter of Paul’s second letter to Timothy in the New Testament.
The aim of this Easter gathering was to plant the seed of discipleship in young people, helping them to understand both the importance of having a spiritual mentor and the mandate to make disciples of Jesus Christ in their own missional context.
“We want them to understand the need to be discipled and also to disciple others,” the organisers said.
During the event, several young people publicly responded to the spiritual call made during a night of worship, expressing their desire to give their lives to Christ or renew their commitment to the faith.

Workshops on faith, culture and life
The programme included 25 training workshops, spread over two days, allowing each participant to attend two of them.
The sessions addressed various topics affecting the lives of young Christians, such as pornography, ‘geek’ culture, transcultural missions, youth ministry and marriage, amongst others.

Music and worship
Music also played a prominent role in the gathering.
Friday evening featured concerts by hip-hop artists Mbassa and DJ Marcos Cruz, whilst on Saturday a worship concert was held led by the group from the Church of Salou (IPS), who also led the music throughout the rest of the event.

A broad-based team
The organisation of the gathering was led by a committee of nine people, from four regions of Spain. The team began preparing for this edition of “Mission Possible” in September 2024 and held monthly meetings for over a year.
In total, around 100 people were involved in various areas, including logistics, security, workshops, group leadership, technical support and medical staff.
The event was attended by 12 visitors from the United States: 10 teenagers and two church leaders.

Supporting missions
During MP 2026, an offering was collected among the participants to support the upcoming missionary trip to Albania by the FIEIDE Missions Department (DEM).
