As in previous years, Spanish public television (RTVE) broadcast the evangelical Christmas service.
It was aired on the second channel of public television as part of the Buenas Noticias (Good News) TV programme on Christmas Eve at 11:00 am, from the Salem evangelical church in Madrid.
The children began the service by singing about the anouncement of the birth of Jesus. This was followed by a time of worship led by the Salem church worship group. Some teenagers then shared poems about the meaning of Christmas.

The Christmas message was given by Marcos Vidal, the church's pastor and an internationally renowned musician who has won two Latin Grammys for Best Christian Album in Spanish, in 2016 and 2023.

Twenty years after its first broadcast in December 2005, the Buenas Noticias TV team views this broadcast as “a great opportunity to invite friends and family to reflect on the meaning of these cherished dates”.
They hope that, “amidst conflict, economic hardship or loneliness, or even in times of abundance, many people may come to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour”.

The programme is available on the RTVE website and through all Buenas Noticias TV digital platforms (in Spanish).
