Honduran President thanks evangelicals for their support during the pandemic

Christian churches have offered their facilities to be used as as an emergency centers to treat victims.

The President of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández, thanked the country's evangelical churches for the supporting his government during the emergency generated by the Coronavirus pandemic.

According to Hernandez, the support that the churches have given, both Catholic and Evangelical, has been essential to face all the problems that the disease has caused in the people of Honduras.

The President stated that Christians have collaborated since the first day of the health crisis, standing shoulder to shoulder in the Honduras Solidaria project.

Hernandez also thanked the the evangelical church Christian Center, CCI, for offering their facilities to the National Risk Management System, to use it as an emergency center to treat victims.

“My thanks to the Catholic and evangelical churches for their solidarity and generosity in providing facilities to enable triage”, Hernandez tweeted, adding that he hoped that the examples of triage of CCI will multiply.
