Several ministries, chuches and organizations in Albania, such as the Bible League, the New Life churches and the group of TACO artists, among others, joined forces to organise an evangelistic tour across the country.
The tour took place from 25 June to 6 July in 10 different towns and villages all around Albania, always connected with local churches that will make the follow up of those interested in the gospel.
Coordinated by pastor Sabri Kasemi, who has been going all around Albania, every summer for several years to preach the gospel, they used art, music, circus, drama, and shared personal testimonies.
All the artists were professional Christians, and talked about how they came to Jesus, then pastor Sabri preached the gospel and finished leading the audience in prayer.
Around 5,000 people reached
Around 5,000 people heard the gospel and about 300 signed their names because they wanted to learn more about Jesus.
At the end of every event, the organisers handed out the cards with those names to the pastors of the local churches who will do their follow-up or discipleship.
“The Word of God teaches that we must go out and preach the gospel in seasons and out of seasons, in this way the seed is planted in the hearts of Albanians and I am sure that one day it will produce fruit”, says Alesio Sema, general secretary of the Evangelical Alliance of Albania (VUSH).
Evangelism in Tirana
In addition to that national tour, the Evangelical Alliance of Albania is also organising, along with the Alliance of Tirana churches and the Nder Breza (Between generations) worship band, four evangelistic tours in the city of Tirana this summer.
“We are very thankful to Nder Breza for being a driving force to make these events happen. We are thankful to God to see the church in Tirana work together, so that the lost will find Jesus Christ as their Savior”, points out Sema.
The Evangelical Alliance of Albania calls on Christians “to pray for God's provision for the two other events, one on 26 July and another on 6 September”.
