In Tirana, 800 Christians came together on Pentecost Day
The unity gathering came after seven evangelistic concerts in seven squares in the capital city of Albania. Over 3,000 people heard the gospel.

On Pentecost Day, around 800 Albanian evangelical Christians came together to remember that the church has a mission outside its own wall and that “Jesus teaches us that we as a church should be lifted as a city up on the mountain top”.
The gathering came after seven evangelistic concerts in seven squares in the city of Tirana. Over 3,000 people heard the gospel. People who showed more interest about Jesus were led to connected with local Churches.
The event of Pentecost was organised by the Evangelical Alliance of Albania in partnership New Life Churches & Momentum, and the Alliance of churches of Tirana.

“It was a blessed time to see the body of Christ to come together in worship, prayer and celebration of what the Lord has done”, the organisers said.
Evangelical Christians gather for unity, prayer for the nation and preaching the word. Gjergji Vjeshta from the “Disciples of Jesus Church” opened the meeting and then worship team led a common time of songs and adoration.
Pastor Ergest Biti, President of the Albanian Evangelical Alliance, lead all the body of Christ in prayer for the nation, government and the Church.

Then, Pastor Sabri Kasemi (pastor of New Life Churches Albania and Coordinator of Tirana Churches), who has been serving with the gospel for 29 years in Albania, preached a message to the youth, inspiring them to go and preach the Gospel in every place that they are. “It is the time for youth to take responsibility for the Kingdom.
It is our heart and desire to see Jesus preached all around Albania”.
The Albanian Evangelical Alliance asked to “pray for a breakthrough and revival in Albania”.
