Roger Marshall was born and brought up in Northern Ireland and graduated in Spanish and French language and literature at Queens University Belfast. He taught English language and literature at the British Council in Barcelona for some 35 years until his retirement in 2021. He currently live in Castelldefels, where he has been helping out with the “Imperfect” restaurant solidarity project by setting up and managing English language and literature conversation workshops.
