Journalist and sociologist, Carlos is a member and founder of the Centro de Estudios del Protestantismo Mexicano (Cenpromex), a network of Evangelical researchers who produce studies about the Protestantism, from different perspectives. Their main goal is the promotion and diffusion of studies about religious miniorities in Mexico and Latin America . The majority of the founding members of Cempromex are also active members of the Theological Latin America Fraternity (FTL), which whom they share goals and vision. Carlos Martínez is a member of the Editorial Team ofthe FTL ´s mexican magazine "Espacio de Diálogo", a publication about Theology, Social Sciences and Liberal Arts. Martinez García is a member of the Mennonite mexican Church, and a very well known speaker, specially about topics like religious freedom, with a deep knowledge about the issues happening in the Mexican region of Chiapas. He contributes with articles for some of the national Mexican newspapers.
