Kåre Melhus is a Norwegian journalist and journalism educator, living in Kristiansand, Norway. He has worked as a reporter, editor and newsroom manager with the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. In 1999 he joined the journalism faculty at the NLA University College as an associate professor in journalism. He holds an MA degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, and served as the press centre manager at the Lausanne II Congress in Manila in 1989, and at the Lausanne III congress in Cape Town in 2010.
