Matthew Lee Miller serves as professor of history at the University of Northwestern–St. Paul in Minnesota. He is the author of The American YMCA and Russian Culture: The Preservation and Expansion of Orthodox Christianity, 1900–1940 (Lexington Books, 2012) and the editor of John R. Mott, the American YMCA, and Revolutionary Russia (Slavica Publishers/Indiana University, 2020).
