Jeff Fountain is director of the Schuman Centre for European Studies, and speaks and writes on issues facing Christians today in Europe. He was co-initiator of the Hope for Europe movement and organised the HOPE.21 (2012) and HOPE.11 (2011) congresses in Budapest. He also organises the annual State of Europe Forum held in the capital of the country holding the presidency of the EU around May 9, Europe Day. Among titles he has authored are Living as people of hope and Deeply Rooted. Based in the Netherlands, he and his wife Romkje lead summer tours across Europe in the footsteps of creative minorities who shaped Europe through their faith.
