Over 20,000 march for Jesus in Paris
It is the record of participation in the country. Christians also gathered in other 5 French cities to “bear witness publicly and in unity about our faith in Jesus Christ”.

Thousands of people took the streets of the French cities of Paris, Lille, Nantes, Metz and Strasbourg, on Saturday 25 May, for the March for Jesus (MPJ) 2024.
All the participants could enjoyed inspiring speeches, times of collective prayer and uplifting songs.
Under the motto “Lets bear witness publicly and in unity about our faith in Jesus Christ”, the gathering “allowed Christians of all denominations to raise the name of Jesus above their theological differences”, explained the organisers.
They aimed the marches to be “a joyful and peaceful testimony of a living faith that wants to touch hearts, through the praise, prayer and proclamation of the Word of God which are at the heart of the march”.
Record in Paris
The march in Paris reached the record of participation in the country with 21,000 people, many of them young people, which, according to the head of the MPJ France federation board and vice-chair of the MPJ Paris committee, pastor André Raoilison, “illustrates the success of the event”.
“If we are here, it is not for a religion or to promote our church, but because there is someone who has touched us deeply, Jesus”, pointed out pastor Jean Luc Trachsel, who was the one in charge of the preaching at the end of the Paris march.
The march in the capital ended with the concert of the evangelical band Hillsong FR and the Catholic group Glorious. They performed a song called Make your rain fall, co-written especially for the event.
